The Domaine la Prut Grand Cuvée Brut is a premium sparkling wine produced using the traditional bottle-fermentation method. This 2022 vintage is a refined blend of 80% Fetească Regală and 20% Riesling.
Following the secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wine was aged on the lees for more than 18 months. This extended maturation gives the sparkling wine a fine and persistent mousse, along with an elegant and complex aromatic profile.
The bouquet reveals fresh citrus aromas, complemented by delicate maturation notes of biscuit and toasted bread. On the palate, the Grand Cuvée is creamy, smooth, and harmonious, offering a balanced combination of freshness, elegance, and finesse.
Only 2,000 bottles of this exclusive sparkling wine were produced.
Domaine la Prut is located next to the Sculeni border crossing, approximately 130 kilometres from Chișinău. The winery has a production capacity of 120,000 litres and was inaugurated in 2020 as an Austrian investment in the Republic of Moldova.
