Castel Mimi Isterie 2022
Castel Mimi Isterie is a sophisticated dry red blend crafted from seven carefully selected grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Saperavi, Rara Neagră, Fetească Neagră, and Pinot Noir. Matured for a minimum of six months in French oak barrels, the wine reflects the winemakers’ pursuit of harmony and depth, bringing together Moldova’s finest red varieties in a single expressive cuvée.
Color and Aroma:
Classic ruby-red color. The bouquet opens with ripe plums, black cherries, and hints of carnation and spices, offering a well-layered aromatic profile.
Taste:
Full and structured, with soft yet present tannins. Notes of dark fruit combine with chocolate, spices, and subtle toasted oak from barrel maturation. The finish is persistent, balanced, and elegantly rounded.
Food Pairing Suggestions:
Excellent with stews, goulash, beef ribs, veal, or rich meat dishes. Serve at 15–18°C.
