The Rara Neagră grapes were hand-harvested from the company’s vineyards in the Speia wine-growing microzone. The wine was then aged for eight months in French oak barriques.

Ruby-red in color, the wine reveals an aromatic bouquet of violets, sour cherries, and dried plums. On the palate, it displays a fruit-forward character, a light body, velvety tannins, and a round, harmonious taste.

The label features the motif “Hands on Hips”, a symbol of feminine strength and maternal authority commonly found on traditional Moldovan blouses. It also refers to the alternative folk name of the Rara Neagră grape variety, traditionally known as Băbească.
