Gitana Classico Cabernet Sauvignon
Origin & Winemaking
Originating from the Republic of Moldova, Gitana Classico is produced exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested from 160 hectares of vineyards in the Valul lui Traian region.
The winemaking process begins with cold maceration, followed by fermentation in wooden vats for at least 15 days, allowing the wine to extract its full aromatic potential. The wine is then matured for one year in oak barrels, gaining structure, complexity, and smoothness.
Aroma Profile
The aromatic bouquet is rich and expressive, with:
fruity notes,
hints of leather,
blackberry and blackcurrant,
subtle touches of black pepper and spices.
Taste
The fruit-forward profile continues on the palate, where tones of red and black currants blend with well-defined tannins and elegant pepper notes.
The finish is smooth, persistent, and pleasantly warm.
Appearance
Color: Intense ruby red
Food Pairings
Gitana Classico Cabernet Sauvignon pairs ideally with:
grilled meats,
smoked meats,
roasted vegetables,
hearty, seasoned dishes.
