About brand
TE WA WINES acts sustainably, therefore we choose to work only with small family vinegrowers, whose concept of cultivating vines is very close to our philosophy - balance and low intervention. 100% grapes from the vineyard of Gospodariei Tārānesti "Alexandru Cojocaru". The grapes used to produce this wine were grown and harvested on the small Cojocaru family farm, the vineyard being located near the village of Cioburciu, in the renowned Purcari area. The temperate-continental climate is infl uenced by the vicinity of the Black Sea, which is manifested by the penetration of warm and humid air masses from the Mediterranean area. The winter is quite cold, the summer warm, but relatively humid, followed by a long and warm autumn until after mid-October, a fact that favors the right and qualitative ripening of the grapes. During the ripening period of the grapes, the average temperature during the day reaches 25 degrees Celsius, the night temperature 12 degrees Celsius, which allows the ripening to proceed slowly, with a positive impact on the preservation of aromas and acidity. Average annual temperature 10 – 11 degrees, sum of active temperatures 3100 – 3250 degrees. Atmospheric precipitation is on average 390 – 450 mm/year.
